Why?

I've consistently seen articles from the Ririan Project hit the front page of Reddit over the past few months.  I always knew that the content was stolen, but never bothered to research it, and figured it would disappear in due time.  However, the articles are consistently very popular (several have gotten to the front page of Digg, as well), and nobody appears to notice that they are composed of 80-90% stolen material.  From my rough estimations, Ririan is making approximately $2,000 a month off of content stolen from other people.

So, this blog will be an effort to catalogue the content theft of the Ririan Project and my attempts to contact the rightful owners of the content so that they can defend against the theft if they so choose.

Just to be clear.  I have no problem with people posting snippets of articles on their blogs.  But there's one obvious condition: you link to the original source.  As far as I can discern, the Ririan Project has never linked to one of its sources, and has never stated that the vast majority of its content is stolen from other sites.
